Who We Are:
The Recovery House of Worship Church Planting Movement (RHOW CPM) specializes in ministering to men, women, young people, families and communities affected by addiction. Addiction has many faces including addiction to drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, food, hoarding, religion, work, even love addiction. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, we are here to help.
Who We Serve:
The RHOW CPM is focused on establishing churches that minister to four specific groups: people in recovery, those struggling in active addiction, family members of addicts, and friends of addicts.
Where We Serve:
The RHOW CPM has churches currently serving Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island New York, Los Angeles California, York Pennsylvania, Anderson South Carolina, Cedar Hill Texas, London England.
Why We Serve:
After attending 12 step meetings the founders were introduced to their Higher Power. While this fellowship helped the founders to experience freedom from active addiction, it was not enough to fill the spiritual void. They came to realize that rather than participating in a 12 step fellowship or a church exclusively, there was a need for a place where addicts could be involved in both. They recognized the need for such a ministry founded by addicts, led by addicts, serving addicts. In 2001, the Recovery House of Worship was born.
