About Us
Who We Serve
RHOW The Movement is focused on establishing churches and other ministries that serve people in recovery, those struggling in active addiction of some form, as well as their family and friends.
Where We Serve
RHOW The Movement has churches and other ministries currently serving Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, and Coney Island New York; Patterson, Lodi, and Hackensack New Jersey; San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and Southern California; Harrisburg, York, Hanover, and New Salem Pennsylvania; Cedar Hills and Dallas Texas; Anderson South Carolina; England, Sweden, and Spain.
Why We Serve
After attending 12 step meetings the founders were introduced to their Higher Power. While this fellowship helped the founders to experience freedom from active addiction, it was not enough to fill the spiritual void. They came to realize that rather than participating in a 12 step fellowship or a church exclusively, there was a need for a place where addicts could be involved in both. They recognized the need for such a ministry founded by addicts, led by addicts, serving addicts. In 2001, the Recovery House of Worship was born.
